A Walk In The Park

My husband and I went for a nice 4 mile walk near a lake at a park close to where we live on Saturday. It was such a beautiful sunny day that I just wanted to get out and enjoy it. The wind was still quite cold but we warmed up quickly as we walked. I snapped some pictures of this wonderful tree formation that we found as we walked and wanted to share them.

Isn't this such a cool looking tree?  I was so intrigued by the shape and wanted to use it for some photos.

Here is the lake view through the tree frame. I should have centered it better but I think it is still quite nice.

I thought it would be so cool if I could get a shot of someone behind the tree but it was sitting literally on the waters edge so I didn't think it would be possible. But my husband figured out a way to get behind it without getting his feet wet. You can see he has to hang on to the tree to help keep his balance. You should also be able to see how close to the water he really is if you click on the picture.

My legs were a little sore after that walk but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And there were a lot of other people on the trail taking advantage of the sunny day also.

A beautiful sunny day and alone time with my husband, God is good.

Have a fantabulous day.

  5. Hi Pamela,

That walk was very refreshing. It was a long one, and challenging, but I felt really good when I finished it.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great day.
